Mothly cost of a newborn baby?

I know you are probably saying You just need the essentials. Which that is what I mean.
Diapers and all of that. Can you just give me like This is this a month and this is this a month.
It would help alot! I will give best answer!

It's hard to say an *average* cost of a Newborn, because everyone is different as far as how much they're willing to spend on certain items.

As far as food, if you breast feed, then food is free. If you formula feed, that can get expensive; cans of formula (for the small cans) are $18 each.

Diapers aren't too expensive if you buy in bulk. You can get away with spending probably $20 a month if you buy generic.

Wipes are very cheap, all the brands seem the same. You can buy the store brand and spend about $10 per month if you buy in bulk.

Clothes -- well, that depends on whether you want designer or wal mart clearance clothes. For something from GAP, you're looking at $40 per outfit ... for something from Wal Mart, you're looking at $5 per outfit.

The bedding, that's a one time purchase and pretty cheap, considering you don't want a bunch of things in the crib (like pillows and blankets). You basically want a sheet and possibly a bumper. You can buy a cheap crib sheet for $10 at Toys R Us.

You could probably find a crib for around $50. We paid $400 for ours, but that's because we got a crib that folds into a Toddler bed for when he's older .. we figure we save in the long run by not having to purchase a new bed when he outgrows the crib.

The most expensive item as far as having a baby is the Medical cost. The cost of pre-natal visits, labor/delivery, then the frequent doctor visists after the baby is born. If you have good insurance, you're set! If not, then that's where it can get costly. Babies have 'well visits' every other month when they're first born. . then every couple months after that.

I always hear people saying they want to wait to have a baby until they are 'financially secure' .. well, if that were the case, nobody would be having babies in todays economy! =]
If you have the love .... you can find the money!
Babies aren't nearly as expensive as people make them out to be. Other than health cost, everything else has short cuts (clearance clothes, breast feeding, clother diapering, etc.)

LOVE and stability is the most important thing when planning a baby ... everything else is secondary =]
