Marriage, Pregnancy and Babies?
I see a lot on here that some women think that its essential you be married before you have children. I on the other hand do not believe this is true. I think its old fashioned and it shouldnt matter that you have a piece of paper that says if you are married or not. If you love that person then that is all that is needed and I think its a little moronic for these women to go around preaching that if you are unwed that you should not be reproducing....What are your opinions of this matter?
BTW I am 27 and have been with my partner for 7 years. I think deciding to have children together pretty much says I agree to be with you forever more than a piece a paper and a white dress.
My partner and I have a 2 year old daughter and Im currently 33+5 weeks pregnant with a boy and we aren't married. To be honest, as long as the child has a happy stable environment and upbringing, I dont see what difference a piece of paper makes. The only downside to us not being married, is that I have a different surname to my partner and children and that bothers me a little but thats the only thing that I dont like.
