cute way to tell my family the gender of my baby.?

I'm going to be finding out the gender of my baby very soon. Does it say on the screen if it a boy or a girl, someone told me they post it on the screen. I don't want to know what it is, cause I have this really cute idea so I can find out the gender and it be a surprise and have my family find out the same time I do. I was thing of having the DR. write it on a tiny sheet of paper and seal it into an envelope. and go and have a custom cake made and give the paper to the one making the cake, where the inside is either colored blue or pink. blue/boy or pink/girl. I need a cake big enough for about 20 people so I was also thinking of getting a large cake with maybe a picture of the ultrasound, where you can see the little baby in my belly. or would the ultrasound picture not be a good idea? what do you think of the cake with the coloring in the middles so when I cut the first piece I will know and so will everyone else, what I'm having.

I LOVE your cake idea. Tell the ultrasound tech what your idea is. They will generally place an arrow pointing to the identifying anatomy and type in "Boy" or "Girl." Just have her put it in a sealed envelope and go ahead with your idea. I wouldn't do the picture of the ultrasound on the cake because it probably wouldn't be very clear, and there may be an extra expense involved. I love the idea of cutting into the cake and finding out. What a fun idea!

i cant think of a good girls name, in case the baby is a girl. i only have 8 weeks left before baby is born.?

I had my tubes tied when i had my second child. thier names are matt and gabe. the tubal did not work, (great!!) so now i have to think up yet another name. i feel the baby is a girl, and her daddy is part korean, although hes not very familiar with the customs. i want a good name, not to wierd, with one or two syllables ...not a long and drawn out four name experience...lol. ive googled korean names and really only came up with the same 10 names on everysite.

I fell in love w/ the name Seong Mina! You could spell it Song Mina, too.
The name Kim is really common in Korea. You could do something like Kimber. I think that's gorgeous.
