I do this....and it is pretty darn competitive. I say....build your photo portfolio, build a website and learn about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). There are a lot of folks trying to enter the virtual retail world right now and there were a lot of Diaper Cakers before this recession. Find something that makes YOUR cakes different and then emphasize that.

6. Gift certificates - These are a great gift especially if you are unsure what to get the mother to be. This is a great way to stay flexible and gives the couple some buying power for themselves or they want something they just did not get at the baby shower.
