Should a travel with a (huge) backpack or suitcase to a grad school interview? Does it matter?

I'm hoping my backpack will fit as a carry-on (during flight), and would be convenient for a 3-day trip.

Carry on bags have to fit into certain physical dimensions and weight limits. Otherwise you'll need to check them. Also, there're restrictions on what you can carry in a carry-on bag for security reasons so beware.

Check with your airline well before the day of the flight so you'll know for sure.
