How to get respect?

There are two girls in my karate class who I help teach, I am 16 and they are 9 and 11. They have found a love of pranking me. At first it was funny, (they put a fake tarantuala in my bag) Then They took my pads out of my bag and stuck them on the wall and each other. I have explained to them what is acceptable and what is not. I have also locked my bag. The other day they put some red dye on the chair I was going to sit in to make it look like I had my period. Their mothers found out and made them wash my uniform. Then it went to where they put ketchup on someone and had him lay on the ground and told me he was realy hurt. This could potentialy be dangerous and I might not help someone who needs it. The girls get in trouble my head teacher and their parents know but they still continue. How can I make them stop. Pranking them and or hitting them is not an option.

i would sit them down with their parents present (it sounds like the parents are supportive of you in this case) and tell them that pretending that someone is injured may mean that you miss someone else who really IS hurt. going through your bag for ANY reason is an invasion of privacy

damaging or interfering with your property could be viewed seriously too - explain that if they were any older that could be viewed as intent to steal and sometimes police could get involved

then tell them that one prank is amusing - but they are taking it too far and it means that teaching them (which is what their parents pay for after all) is being interfered with.

i think next time you get kids pranking you - don't make a joke of it the first time even if privately you do find it funny - just keep the payback to a minimum and they are less likely to continue doing it
