I am looking to buy a new vacuum I need input on how to find the best in an upright plus no bags or belts?

Checked on line but they are confusing to me. Don't want a piece of junk. By the way Hubby threw my vacuum over the fence and broke it lol...Hose kept coming apart on wrong end and he heaved it. Barb going shopping tomorrow so hope I can get help tonite Thanks in advance

I can't count how many vacuum's I have had in my 40 yrs. of housecleaning my home. I recently bought a Dyson, the one w/the orange ball, and I love it. One of the best ever. On a different note I hope Hubby never get mad at you! Better watch that guy.
