Can anything live with an Undulated Trigger?

My sister just got into the whole aquarium thing, and bought an Undulated trigger without knowing how agressive they are. She was going to flush it, but I decided I wanted it.... which was stupid because I know nothing about aquariums.

All I have so far is the tank, coral sand, and "live rock" which my sister suggested I get (the trigger is still at my sister's). Is there any type of fish or crab or anything that moves that can live with the U. Trigger?

Also in the bag of live rock there were 3 little crab things, with blue and orange colors. Would it be safe for the trigger if they were put in the tank? I don't want to kill them. Here is a (poor) picture. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v147/Fredrick_NP/crabs.jpg
The store has a no return policy... thats why it was going to get flushed.

Also how big are we talking? And how long will it take for them to get what is considered large?

NO crabs are not safe in a tank with this trigger. No inverts, of any kind, no shrimp, no crabs, no corals and watch your live rock because he will chunk it off.

Also these fish get big. Your best bet is to return him to the store and get a credit on another fish.

A lion fish isn't the answer for a tank mate here. While some triggers can be more peacefull most are not. Which will end up in territorial fights and perhaps the loss of one or both fish.

even fish larger than he and other triggers are not good tank mates. These fish are known for being king of the tank and do not get along well with others, even of their species.

Although very hearty fish, they are a good fish to start in a salt tank, you just cannot have others with him.

Really consider taking the fish back and get a credit for a more sociable fish.

Will adding builders sand help a clayish soil?

I dug up about 4 sq metters of lawn and found a very clayish soil under.

There are many bags of builder's sand lying around, left over from when this house was in construction. Two types of sand are here : one is yellow and has many small pebbles mixed in; the other is orange color and very fine.

Shall I mix in some of that sand with the clay soil? If so which sand; the finer type of the more coarse type with small pebbles? And how much porportion to the claying soil?

( I also have compost to mix in.)

Amending clay soils have many ideas.

Personally I have turned with spade,added a little sand,added a planters/compost soil,wet with dish water and tilled in.Then a couple inch's of compost on top and it worked fine.I included a link on the subject,some good reading in all.
