Should I be preparing?

I will be 32 weeks tomorrow and I was just wondering if its a bad thing that I have nothing out for the baby, the few things that were handed down are in a box. My baby shower isn't for another month and I don't want to buy anything yet. I read a lot about how people already have the nursery set up and a bag packed for the hospital.

It's a good idea to try and get the basics. It never hurts to have more diapers, onesies, etc... I know you may want to wait and see what you get at the shower, but you have to know that it's not a guarantee. Have a safety net. If you don't have a crib/basinette yet, get looking! It's not a bad idea to get a bag packed for the hospital, one never knows when you might go into labour.
