Desperate china help?

Im currently in China and on my way back to Australia and need lots of help?
1.I have about 80 DVD's, and about 30 CD's all bought in China. We dont know if we should bring them back to Australia. They are just gifts and some are for work and others just some we liked. What do you think the best way to carry them is. NOTE. The post office won't let us send them and obviously we arn't going to sell them.

2. Are num chucks and Sling shots allowed in Australia. I know obviously i can't take them in carry on but what if they are in the bottom of our bags, is that not right or should we just leave them here. What is the best thing.

3. Are lighters allowed in any luggage, we bought some fancy lighters as gifts and would really like to bring them back, again, what is the best way.

4. Who can we ring to get help and is there a site to tell me what annd what not to bring back to australia.THANKYOU.

(PERSONAL NOTE: Make sure the lighters are empty. If they don't have any flammable material in them, then they are less likely to attract attention. I have had friends who have had their disposable lighters taken out of their checked luggage (this is during the check-in process at Chinese airports) because they had flammable material in them.)

I've had friends successfully mail their DVDs/CDs back to their home countries, but many post offices in China refuse them. It's 50/50 as to whether a post office will let you because they inspect all items being shipped out. You can try a different post office . . . try to bring a fluent Chinese speaker with you and see if that will help.

You can also pack your DVDs/CDs into your suitcase and see what happens.
