When will beanie babies be worth the most?

I was cleaning out my attic today and found a big bag of beanie babies, many with original tags still intact.

When will they be worth the most? Is it worth waiting to sell them or should I just clear them out now by the lot or individually?

They were probably worth more that day in 199x when McDonald's was giving the mini ones away in their Happy Meals and everyone was lined up to get the next one out. We drove all over town to get all the different ones, following tons of other people.

Those and the normal size ones are being sold at garage sales for a dollar or less now. Not very many people are collecting them any more. If you want to get rid of them, bag them up in lots of about 5 in each set and sell them on e-Bay. Check their sold items to see how much they are going for that day.
