what can you pack in your carry on bag if your going on a cruise (carnival Imagination) like can i take my?

camera, etc. Also do i suppose to have my own lock on my luggage or do they supply one or a name tag, what exactly do they supplie, and if not a lock where can i purchase one at?

Yes you can take your camera and just about anything else you really need. Carnival will not provide a lock for your luggage or a name tag. These are up to you, if you carry your luggage on you really don't need any of these because your bags stay with you the entire time. If you do check your luggage at the dock I would purchase a lock because you do sometimes hear horror stories. The only thing Carnival will provide to you at the dock is a tag that states where your luggage is supposed to go. I suggest carrying your luggage on, because it really does speed everything up and is much more secure.

Checking in Luggage at at the airport?

Well I know you can have 1 carry on bag with you on the plane, but when you check in the luggage that you do not want to bring on the plane, do they take out everything in the bag in front of you and see waht you have in that bag you are not taking on the plane with you? Or do they just weigh it, tag it, and you can go? Or do they screen that bag infront of you before you get on the plane?

If a checked bag is screened, it will be done by security after it has been checked in -- the airline's gate agent will only weigh it and tag it. If security feels the need to inspect a bag, it will not be done in front of you.
