Can odor molecules get thru a vacuum sealed bag?

I was just wondering if odor molecules are small enough to get thru plastic

Simply, yes.

It depends on the plastic and type of odour.

Most small molecules will leach through plastic, although the rate depends on the plastic, the thickness and the number of layers of plastic in the film.

Some plastics may contain microscopic holes that allow molecules through (transmission), and other plastics absorb the molecules on one side and then release them on the other side (migration). The vacuum in the bag won't make much difference to migration but may prevent transmission.
