How should I care for and Style an Ethiopian babies hair?

I nanny for a family who have adopted a lovely baby girl from Ethiopia. She's about a year and a half old now and I'll we really do with her hair is put it in little poofs on the side of her head. Nobody has any idea how to care for a black babies hair and even their black friends have said her hair is really nappy. We brush it out everyday and condition it with really nice conditioner and put some essential oil stuff in it too but I'm just not sure how to style it as it gets longer and harder to deal with.

Only wash her hair with a conditioning shampoo. Then drench her hair in conditioner after you wash it. Begining from the ends, detangle with a wide tooth comb. Then spray a light coat of spray conditioner on her hair. The best way to style a baby's hair is keep it simple! Baby hair breaks really easy and some styles can really hurt! So, just do pig tails and pony tails as it get longer. These are quite elegant and simple to do and will keep her hair in mint condition!
