how to add color to blk and white photo using photo explosion?

I have photo explosion on my computer and I have been playing with it tryng to add blue eyes to a black and white pic..but I can only get one eye to stay fixed. Can s'one plz give me a step by step so I can figure out what I am doing wrong?

Unless your image is a RGB black and white image file, you are stuck with shades of gray.

The way to go about this is to start with a colour image and then using layers and some very advanced Photoshop techniques, make every thing black and white you want and leave the colour.
