Book Diaper Bag
Hospital/Diaper bag...?
I'm 31 weeks and I just decided out of the blue to start packing my hospital back. We're also using it as a little bag for the baby too. I just put a few things in there like his take home outfit baby books baby pillow binkies binkie holder, etc. Anyways, I was also planning on taking a puzzle book for me a going home outfit for me pajama pants a couple pairs of sweats, and a reading book. Is there anything else that I should think about or maybe take with me?
Oh ya thanks for reminding me i'm also going to buy little trial size things of shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, my toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant.
I found a site for you where you check off what you want to take and it will make a list for you and you can print it out. Hope this helps.

What did you pack in your hospital bag?
I think I over-packed my bag. I tend to do that alot :0 Do you think this is to much? What all did you pack/planing to pack?

My mom has her own bag to seeing as she will be with me the whole time. The tshirts I packed have buttons on the front so It will be easier to nurse.
Anything else you think I will need? Anything I can take out? Of course I have my insurance paperwork, & the carseat is already in the car. My mom is bringing the camrea/video camrea.

LOL,I went overboard when I packed mine. Turns out I didn't need half of what I packed.
My hospital provided gowns,sanitary pads.body wash,sitz bath,meds,heated blankets,diapers,wipes,clothing for baby,comb,suction bulb. And gave a go home kit for baby. Really nice. I plan to have my 2nd at the same hospital.
The thing is. With bringing your own clothing. After labor you will bleed a LOT. So,it's much better to ruin a hospital gown than your own things.
However some good things to pack are:
A Robe
Slippers
Nursing bra
Socks
Change of clothes to go home in(six month pregnancy weight)
Undies
Your own brush,since the hospital just gave me a comb,and all it did was pull my hair
HAIR TIES. I cannot stress that enough. My hair was so tangly after labor..ugh!
Cell phone
Camera
Baby clothing
Lightly packed diaper bag(you really don't need everything but the kitchen sink)
I'd also recommend a nail file vs clippers for your babies nails.
Your food will be provided for you by the hospital,or if you don't want that. They will allow you to bring outside food. My first meal after labor was a big salad from some place near by.
