My toddler is addicted to coffee!?

My 2 year old, will drink my coffee. I've caught her drinking the bottom of my cup in the morning from the coffee table, or she will pull the chair to the counter and drink what ever mugs she finds.When we have company over, our guests will usually bring us "Tim Hortons" coffee, and she will be relentlessly trying to get the paper coffee mug away from whom ever has it! She's dug then out of the garbage and try to drink the bottom.
I now have to drink my coffee at the counter, and rinse my cup immediately, when people bring us coffee i have to discard the coffee cups, in a separate bag, and out garbage is now removed from the kitchen and outside! as we speak she is having a tantrum over my coffee! could she be addicted? Has this happened to anyone else?? It's obviously not good for her, nor do i let her have it, but she finds her ways... what do i do??

Sometimes I wonder if it is the "game" of getting what she wants that makes a toddler do these things! My daughter does this with candles - (not lit ones obviously) but ones that are sitting out on a table or shelf. She will go to the most extreme length to get them and play with them, and mostly it's because I made such a fuss about her not being allowed to have them in the first place. It became like a game - I tell her no, she finds a way to exert her independance.
When I started teaching her that when they are lit they are dangerous, and allowing her to touch carefully and under supervision ones that weren't lit, the challenge was gone. Within a couple of days she didn't want them anymore.
Maybe if you just give her a taste of the most bitter, strongest coffee you can make, she'll give up on it. If not, the last drops of a cup won't hurt her.....though it might embarrass you at Dunkin Donuts perhaps
