Baby Snow Suits
Baby Snow suits are a really good option for winter clothing. They are a great way to keep heat insulated around the body when the baby is outdoors in really cold weather. The come in a range of styles for boys and girls and you can even get designer options that are very cute. You don’t have to pay a fortune for a warm good quality snow suit but you need to consider the following options.
The weight of the snow suit is an important factor, if you need the snow suit for really cold outdoor activities then the heaviest snow suit will be the best option for keeping the baby warm. Heavy snow suits are quite thick and will restrict movement for the child so if you have an active toddler that wants to play around then a lighter snow suit might function better but its always best to get the heavier option for young babies as they wont be moving around that much so will need extra padding to insulate body heat.
Snow suits can be very tricky and awkward during diaper changes so make sure the snow suit that you invest in has easy access to the diaper and has no tricky buttons or clasps. Baby snowsuits that have Zipper or Velcro closers that provide easy access to the baby’s diaper is a really useful function.
Heavy padded snow suits can prevent car seat safety belts from closing properly so it’s a good idea to put the snowsuit on the baby when you reach the destination and just use blankets to cover the baby while in the car. Also remember to make sure the baby is comfortable and not over heated, an infant usually only needs an extra layer of clothing more than we do so don’t put too many layers under the snow suit if it has heavy padding.
