1 month old baby and returning to work any advice? am breastfeeding!?

well am returning to work she will be one month friday . well am a waitress and its like the whole day i get two hrs of break so i can come and bump but i don't have a clue how to handle expressed milk for example am going to bump before i leave and to work do i just take the milk like that in the diaper bag or do i have to take it with an ice pack?
i might have to give up the breastfeeding which sucks because its going really well because i cant pump at work theres nowhere but the restroom its a restaurant i can only pump before i leave, during break, and when i get home though the night but the whole day i get in at 9 and get out at 10 or 11 pm

You should bring an ice pack in one of those insulated lunch boxes to store the milk. Another option would be a refrigerator at work, but I don't know if you feel comfortable with that. If you don't feel comfortable pumping in the restroom, you could go to your car and use a blanket to cover yourself.

Nursing Bras are Important

Nursing your new born baby is the most important thing you can do for your child. The milk you provide is the exact formula he will need to stay healthy and grow. This is something you don’t get when you formula feed your newborn.

Some women find it hard to nurse and this could be due to the wrong nursing bra. It’s also possible she is wearing a regular bra instead of a nursing bra. This is not good especially for new moms. The experience should be pleasant and comfortable, but it’s not when your bra doesn’t work properly.

The first time you get a nursing bra, you really should consider going to a maternity store. They will have the ability to measure you correctly and they will also have the knowledge to know what size you should go with to have the perfect fit. Once you are fitted you will be able to purchase your next nursing bra at a clothing store. You should consider being measured with each pregnancy because your body can change.

The pad will absorb the leak and it will not get on your bra. I suggest carrying at least two sets in a plastic bag in your purse. It may also be a good idea to put two sets in your diaper bag. You never know when you will have an accident.
