What is the difference between canvas tailored fabric and fleece tailored fabric?

All Bugaboos were originally offered in canvas. We bought a Frog for our firstborn son almost four years ago, and I must say it's worn well despite heavy use and several washings.

The fleece was first offered with the Cameleon and is intended to be a step up. It's softer than the canvas, and is better in extreme weather - both hot and cold. It's also supposed to be water-repellent.

I really like the look of the fleece, too. If we were buying a stroller today, we'd go for a two-tone Cam with fleece for certain.
