Strapping a baby into a car seat while wearing a "bundle me" or heavy winter coat?

Are parents aware of the dangers of doing this or simply choose to ignor the warnings that the thick material can compress and make the straps loose? Is the word not getting out to the public enough or are marketing factors so strong that parents think that this is the only way to keep babies warm? I see this so often and it bothers me to see so many babies put at risk this way.

I have had so many dreams of giving birth to my little bundle of joy. And in the dreams she is always a girl. We do not know the sex and I a 35 weeks pregnant. Do you believe the gender of the baby can be revealed to us in our dreams?

Of course I believe it. I had a dream a couple days before I had my ultrasound with my first that the doctor told me I was having a tall boy. Sure enough I had a boy and he's 2 now he's in the 95th percentile for his height.
