At what age should a toddler start to use a pillow and duvet in her cot?

My daughter is 21 months and still in a cot in our room, as she needs to share a bedroom with an older daughter. She has plenty of sheets and blankets for winter, but I was wondering about getting her a pillow and duvet. Any thoughts?

they recommend after 12 months. i used duvets and pillows for both kids when they become one. you should buy special pillows from mothercare or any good shop because they have more ventilation in them so if they turn into them or pull it over thier heads they will be ok
