Custom Summer
How can I get wireless internet on my custom made PC, without ethernet?
I have a custom-made PC that I made last summer just sitting in my room. I have no idea why, but it doesn't realize that there is an Apple AirPort right next to it. Can you help?
Is that router close to your PC?? If so, connect your PC to an available port on your AirPort via an Ethernet Patch Cable Cat 5e or Cat 6. If your PC hasn't a Ethernet Port, buy one and installing on a available expansion slots, using the CD that should come bundled with it. Check the type of your expansion slot available (usually Universal PCI)
If the router is away (not in your house) but you can receive its wireless signal, buy a wireless ethernet adapter to your PC and install it. Check what kind of expansion you have available on the motherboard before go to the store (Best Buy is the recommended retailer). Normally the connector on your motherboard should be PCI type. Buy an UNIVERSAL PCI card in this case. After installation Windows will connect it. If the connection is an securerity-enable wireless, you will be asked to enter a Password.
To make sure the installation of the card is fine, righ-click Computer (or My Computer), click MANAGE. The Computer Management windows opens. Click Device Manager on the left pane. Look for your adapter card on the right and right-click, then PROPERTIES. On General Tab you must read: "this device is working properly"..

Finding the right favors for my summer wedding!
It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to plan my outside wedding and reception. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Having the natural beauty of the outdoors saved us a lot of money on decorations. The first thing I had to do was to find the perfect location to have our summer wedding and reception. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.
I wasn’t really sure where to start, so I shopped around for some much needed suggestions. I found out you need to have a plan B, in case inclement weather unexpectly arises. It’s a good idea to have a tent ready to continue your ceremony if it becomes necessary.
We had canopies arranged for our reception and barring bad weather, planned to be wed under a lovely trellis. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. I thought artificial flowers would be best, since we didn’t want a bee invasion ruining our ceremony. The only way you could tell that the flowers were artificial, was by touch, they were beautiful. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. Summer weddings are spectacular, but the sun can turn your beautiful wedding cake into a gooey pool of confection.
As far as table décor, I found so many fantastic accessories for our reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. The chrome bottle openers we bought for our guests were packaged in beautiful favors boxes and given out as summer wedding favors. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.
While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. They put our faces on our cake topper, and all I had to do was send them a photo of me and my fiance. Talk about the best wedding keepsake you can get. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.
Everything at the wedding and reception were fantastic. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. We all loved the super DJ and the fantastic job he was doing, and if I’m right, he probably kept the music and dancing going on for quite a while after we left to go on our honeymoon. A lot of good things were said about our wedding ceremony and everyone said they had a fantastic time at the reception. The park turned out to be the perfect place to have our wedding and reception. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.
