Cute Diaper Bag Patterns
What would a new mother want?
And don't say a nanny. 
My friend's daughter is about to have a baby and I was thinking of sewing something for her. I looked online and I found a bunch of patterns for diaper bags and baby slings. I originally was going to sew a cute little dress for when she got a little bigger. What do you think a new mom would appreciate the most?
Diapers.
And if you are in the mood to go big, a good baby swing. Some babies never use them or want to be in them. But those that do... a swing just about saves your life.
ETA: If your question was about just those three options.... I think anyone would be fine. But personalized diaper bags are really cute. You can also get a lot more use out of it.

What all can some one make on a Sewing Machine?
I am very interested in starting up a little boutique where I make all sorts of cute things for little ones and their mommy and daddy's too. I was wondering if you all could give me some ideas of what those things might be. I will be letting the customers choose any materials or pattern they want to use.
Some of the things I have thought about already are: diaper bags, totes, wipe cases, tutus, baby bloomers, t-shirts, burp rags, bibs....
The machine I have also has embroidery so I will be able to embroider the items as well...
So really I am just looking for any ideas someone else had in mind.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I have also thought about quilts and blankets.
Matching crib sheets and bumper pads, hanging diaper holder, curtains and chair cushion for the nursery.
You could make all sorts of hats.
You could embroider designs on purchased sox and onesies.
I LOVE the idea of personalized growth charts (the kind where you mark the child's height each birthday).
