How should I do my room?

Okay, I really need help. I want to re-do my room. Right now it's brown and green.

Here is my choices:

Eco-Luxe: High count organic sheets, expensive soy candles, free trade gourmet chocolates. Basically high class organic.

Fashion- Designer collages, shopping bags hanging up, pictures of clothes, necklaces draped, mannequins.

Boho Chic- Ethnic fabrics, long exotic beads, bright prints, think freepeople.com meets couture.

Contemporary Bathrooms and Designs

The latest bathrooms come in every style, from chic continental to old world traditional. A contemporary bathroom can be as old fashioned or as minimalist as you want – there's no limit to the styles available. What's important is that you choose bathroom fittings that suit both your home and your personality – after all, they're going to be with you for a long time.

When choosing your bathroom, begin by measuring the area carefully, and then make a rough plan of the bathroom layout. If your present bathroom is cramped or an awkward shape, think of ways you can maximise space. Things have come on a lot in the last few years, and there are modern slim-line suites and corner baths that use every inch of space. Be aware, though, that if you are swapping a very old bathroom for an ultra-modern, eco-efficient one some re-plumbing may be necessary to make it all work.

High-level cisterns are rare these days, as they rely on a gravity-fed flush and use a lot of water – but low-coupled cisterns can look just as attractive.

Modern contemporary bathrooms offer a lot of scope. Choose from half or full pedestal basins or a recessed basin with no pedestal at all. Toilets are often close-coupled, push-button operated, and wall rather than floor-mounted. You can choose an oval, rectangular or even free-standing bath, with streamlined chrome accessories to add the final designer touch.

When it comes to design concepts, don't feel you have to go with the architectural style of your home. There are modern city apartments with traditional Edwardian suites, and 19th Century houses with minimalist streamlined bathrooms. So find a style you like – and start planning!
