Designer's advice.. room is TOO pink..?

i got a very very light shade of pink for my new room, but now that's it's on all four walls the color is overwhelming. i don't even really like pink but the sample is just such a pale color i didn't think it would have and intense pink effect.. but it does. lol. what are some ways i could dull down the pink?
my furniture is dark btw. i was thinking of maybe painting one of the walls white? or perhaps putting in a charrail having the bottom half white?

A chair rail is a good idea. You can do the bottom third of the room in white or even the bottom two thirds and that would eliminate a lot of that pink. You could even paint the wall that the head of your bed is on a lighter shade of pink for a little contrast. I'd go no more than 2 shades lighter. A very popular combination is pink, white and black! It can look very stylish! Good luck!!
