Whcih diaper pail to use to minimize rabbit trash smell?

I was looking into getting a diaper pail for my rabbit's waste since I am living in an apartment, I thought that might help keep the smell down (though I never let it get too smelly!). Do you think using a diaper pail is a good idea? And which one would you prefer? The Diaper Genie, Diaper Genie II, Dekor Disposal, or the Dekor Disposal Plus? My sister says her boss has the Dekor and it's easy to use (the way she described it, I think she has the Plus) and works great, and that Diaper Genie is hard to use. With the Dekor, I would have to buy it online and have the refill bags shipped every time, unless I go to Kids'R'Us or something and buy the bags.
It's between this or just putting them in old store bags and throwing them out each morning since I pass the dumpsters while going out of the development.

Guess I'll just do that, but didn't know if the pail would make it easier/better.

I suspect you'd be disappointed with any of them, given what you want to use it for. I don't think it will meet your needs. You have to push a diaper down into it to make it work, and that'd be hard to do with rabbit waste.

Instead, consider just double-bagging the waste in plastic grocery bags you save from shopping. It does the same thing to contain odor, ii's free, and most people have plenty of bags lying around. Plus it's better for the environment, since you're recycling. No hassling with ordering refill bags.

Put the waste in one bag, tie it closed, then repeat with the second. Toss it out with your regular garbage. Even diaper genies start to stink after they've been sitting a while. You'd have to wrap the waste up to get it into the genie to begin with, so skip the fancy gadget.

Diaper Geni refill. Does the small end go up or down? Looks like it doesn't fit.?

I can't figure out the diaper genie thing. Got a used one. Also does the bag material go on the outside of the refill or down the hole in the center?

Little end down... You need the big end to go up so your hand can fit to push the diaper to the small end.
