Diaper Bag Sewing Pattern Fabric
I'm 16 weeks pregnant & want to sew my own diaper bag. Anyone have any patterns?
I know what fabric I want to use but I wasn't too familiar with what type of interfacing. Does anyone have any helpful hints or patterns to use?
Patterns like this one - http://sewmuchado.blogspot.com/2008/12/free-diaper-bag-tutorial.html and commercial patterns will indicate what type of interfacing to use.
There are others that use canvas or duck. If you choose to use these fabrics, buy extra and pre-wash as they can shrink. If you want to someday wash the diaper bag, you don't want to end up with a puckered up mess.
You can substitute with light weigh interfacing if the canvas or duck will be inside the outer and inner fabrics and not show.
