I HAVe the stuff, i dont know how to put it all together? MY TEEN ROOM?

im 16, nothing childish, so in the begining i decided to do my room pink and green, but now i wanna add orange and yellow to it and it very difficult based on the stuff i have in it. my curtains are an old fasion green with pink flowers and my lamp is the same way. its WAY cute!! and my furniture is all dark brown. my bed is all pola dot, which im worried about bc of the lamp and curtains, which ties in to the orange and pink and yellow stuff, i want it to bed fun and cheerful in those colors, and i cant just get rid of it. i just got the curtains sew'd and the lamp was way xpensive! sheets: grass green with white dots, and comforter is fushia w/ white dots, these 2 styles dont go, how can i bLEND them in???! i found lots of cute orange and pink stuff at pbteen. idk what to do! walls: freshly painted light pale pink. ? HELP. TO the designers out there!

first:
get rid of the bedcover...i cant imagine it going with ur lamp/curtains...(which i lyk)
go 2 target and get the comforters that are plain yellow...get some new sheets that are maybe patterned similar to ur curtains/lamp...
second:
i think u should go simple.
don't overload the room with junk and let the curtains kind ov be the asset.
those old-looking white tables look really great by a window, where you can bring back ur yellow by putting a vase with yellow flowers on the table.
