Photoshop - I want to change my photo into lots of little dots(black and white)?

the dark areas will have a lots of little black dots, packed densely together, the light areas will have very few black dots, spread out. Hope that makes sense. Thanks

If i understood you correctly, you want a stippling effect... You can do that on photoshop by:
1. Image > mode > greyscale (to convert your picture into black and white)
2. Filter > pixelate > mezzotint >chose fine dots and click ok.
That should give you a stippling effect.
Another dotted black and white effect would be, after you convert your image into greyscale, is the color halftone effect. You can find this option also in the filter > pixelate menu..
