Einstein Diaper

Baby Einstein?
My 11 month old son loves to watch Baby Einstein movies. We usually start the morning out this way. It keeps him occupied while I get the house up and running, breakfast, packing diaper bag, myself ready, clothes for him ect. My husband read in our local newspaper that children who watch Baby Einstein and like movies, are showing on average a lower ranged vocabulary. It kinda makes sense because they don't use words, just music and sound. I feel like what is "good" for your child changes everyday. What do you think? Has anyone else heard anything about this?
It has nothing to do with the videos. The problem is, parents are plopping their kids in front of the tv and expecting it to teach them language skills. The videos are fine as long as they are not a substitute for you! Babies crave adult interaction and attention. Keep letting him watch the videos - just make sure he has plenty of adult conversation with you - no baby talk!! The more you talk to him, the faster, and better, his language comprehension will develop.

The Stinky diaper song
What is the hardest part of staying at home with the kids?
I love staying home with my kids...most of the time. What drives you nuts?
For me it is the noise. I have two kids eight months and two years. The baby is in a whining stage (probably teeth) and the two year old has started this high pitched whining/singing noise. On top of all of the singing toys, I could lose my mind.
Yesterday the baby was whining and banging on his Baby Einstein drum, and my daughter was screaming/singing along with her princess book (both set to full volume, of course) and I was literally grinding my teeth to remind myself that I support musical experssion.
I can take the diapers/ waste management issues, the constant doctor visits, the temper tantrums, the lack of down time, but the volume of motherhood could just put me over the edge!
What gets to you?
When all 3 of them are crying together at the same time, I feel like running and hiding. Also I hate dinner times and bath times because every day it is a nightmare getting it all done.
