G Diapers Prefolds
GDiapering mamas?
I am expecting my second baby late May or early June. I really wanted to go with cloth, but hubby absolutely, unequivically refuses. Are there any moms who just use Gdiapers? I don't mean using prefolds during the day and g's while out. I know they're expensive, but flushing the poo seems like it would be really nice, plus better for the environment. I don't mind doing a little extra work while diapering.
I have used disposables, pre-folds, fitteds, AIOs, pockets and gDiapers ... Pocket diapers are my hands down favourite.
The gDiapers are good if you don't know any better! They are definitely better than disposables. They are a little more expensive, but I would use them instead of disposables if I couldn't use cloth diapers. You may want to buy some cloth inserts to put in them ... you could use the cloth inserts when you change the baby and your husband could use the disposable inserts to save you some money ... It would be a good compromise! I have used these inside medium gDiapers and they worked great:

Honestly, if you husband's main concern about cloth diapers is that they are not as convenient as disposabes, then I would introduce him to AIOs and pocket diapers. They are as easy to use as a disposable and actually easier than the gDiapers ... The only "inconvenient" thing about cloth diapers is washing them, but you could do that part since you are in favour of cloth diapering!
We are keeping the gDiapers to use just for vacations away from home. I was using them for outings, but decided that my pocket diapers were way better and I might as well use them full time.
