Giraffe Baby Diaper
calming baby during diaper changes?
my 6 day old baby goes crazy during diaper changes. of course she wasn't like that at the hospital, she was quiet as can be lol.
we usually change her when she wakes up, or we wake her for feeding. we change her than feed her. we've tried stimulating her with glow worms, sophie the giraffe, a soother in her mouth, singing, kissing her, massaging her, and she still goes crazy, as soon as we pick her up, she's a little better but still whining for food. Also when she wakes, we wait a couple of minutes to change her because if we don't she'll be peeing or pooping on us. She's better with that now, ut she was having 1-2 poops, and pee between feedings.
Any suggestions, as diaper changes aren't much fun, lol.
she's very tiny, she was 6lbs 13 ounces and 20 inches, she has no fat, maybe once she bulks up it'll get better,.
She just needs to get used to brief moments of naked and diaper changes. She will calm, keep up the great work! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Great to see you back with your new little one. That membrane sweep must have worked for you. Hope the delivery went well for you!
