I have a 3 week old baby girl and a 17 month old son, I have to keep a tandem pram and a huge diaper bag in my car at all times and quiet frankly its not very attractive. I would much rather use my single pram for my son and have my baby girl in the pouch when zipping around town, I was also thinking of using a normal handbag (large).
What do you guys think of this? also what do you/would you keep in the handbag?
Nappies, wipes, powder... etc?

Change mat with a soft cozy change cloth I got from Toys R us (so he doesn't get cold when lying on the change mat)
Bottles (4 minimum) and 2 jars of baby food and 2 baby spoons of course
A hand towel which I use as my sons 'vomit rug'
Change of clothes (at least 2 outfits)
He's favourite little rattle bear
A little bag to put he's dirty clothes in
Nappy sacks (those red plastic bag things to put dirty stinky nappies in)
My medications in case I end up somewhere too long (have to take day and night)
A camera (to capture those picture perfect moments) not all the time I take it with me though
Thermos bottle of hot boiled water
formula container
but for running around I bought one of those BIG W cloth bags which are really long so everything I fit into my nappy bag, fits into that bag too,.
