Wedding Shoes!?

I've loved the wizard of oz since I was in diapers. This halloween im going to be Dorothy. Well my wedding colors are red, ivory and black and i'll be wearing my ruby red slippers as my wedding shoes!

I will make sure they are comfortable, my mom bought a pair of red leather heels (not very tall) and they are comfy, she's decorating them herself!

I will probably on wear them up until after the garter has been taken off my leg! I don't know how many people will see the shoes before that, my dress should cover them...but everyone will see them when he goes to take off the garter

Wear whatever you want, the ruby slippers sound cute - but make sure they are comfortable enough to wear all day!!!

You absolutely do not want your feet to be blistering and sore because you wore bad shoes that were cute. You'll end up going through your reception in bare feet...

PS - Any chance you can have the aisle you are walking down in the church (or wherever) strewn with yellow rose petals to simulate the yellow brick road? The garden I got married in didn't have an "aisle" so my florist collected rose petals during the week before my wedding and created one for me - it was beautiful and didn't cost me anything since they strip the outer petals off the roses before they use them in any arrangements. She just threw them in as a gift to us!
