Lion Diaper Bag
How do you approach someone respectfully and tell them that they and their children are unbearably loud?
It's Sunday and i've been up since 8:23am because the neighbors above us let their kids get up and run wild. We live in a 3 family house. It sounds like they're playing tag and they're jumping off of the couch! It's crazy! Then at 9:01am exactly had the nerve to turn on their stereo. The kids are quiet because they're now watching the Lion King which is heard clearly in my apartment at 9:46am. Yesterday I was awaken by their stereo at 10:17am! It's non-stop, worse on weekends. The landlord says they only know spanish so he can't talk to them so nothing is getting done by him. Also they throw their garbage out in untied grocery bags that birds pick at. The food ends up on our separate walkway and since i've cleaned up their mess....garbage bags and diapers have been mysteriously placed at the top of our steps. They just moved here mid April, they know we're here. How do you approach someone respectfully to tell them they're loud and inconsiderate. I can get translation.
Wow that sucks, and the landlord sucks at helping. Well you should get the landlord to STILL go do his d*mn job and you can be his translator. Kinda odd though, how can he lease the apartment to them if he can't speak spanish himself? Sounds like BS to me.
BUT you can approach them, and say "i'm sorry, but for the past few days, weeks, whatever, i have not been able to sleep or be efficient for work because your activities are very loud, i'd appreciate it if you'd please be more quiet, I respect you as a neighbor and i hope you can do the same. '
Oh yea and next time they pull the garbage stunt i'd call the cops or take some pictures of the evidence and either sue or show the landlord. Cause that's foul.
If they don't comply with your request....you can sue the landlord for sucking *ss or call the cops for the disturbing the peace. Then let's see em try something.
