Snoopy vs. the Red Baron $71.7 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Snoopy vs. the Red Baron is a flight combat game released on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and PC in 2006. As the name implies, the protagonist is Snoopy, the dog in Charles M. Schulzs comic strip, Peanuts. The game is based on one of the most famous Snoopy alter egos: a World War I flying ace battling against Manfred von Richthofen the Red Baron, the Flying Circus: Jagdgeschwader 1, the Black Hand and other preWorld War I organizations of Europe. The game is introduced in a scene as Charlie Brown and Lucy van Pelt find Snoopy sleeping on top on his doghouse as usual and wondering what Snoopy might be dreaming about. Snoopy quickly wakes up shooting imaginary enemies. Charlie Brown replies that Snoopy is probably dreaming about being a famous World War I flying ace. The game then focuses on Snoopys dream. Happiness Is... Peanuts: Team Snoopy - Fullscreen $12.99 Includes:The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show: Snoopy's Brother Spike (1985) Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown (2003) The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show: Snoopy's Brother Spike No synopsis available. Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown Carrying on a tradition established by 1966's Charlie Brown's All-Stars, the made-for-TV animated special Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown concentrates on the late cartoonist Charles Schulz's near-obsessive love of baseball. It's spring again and Charlie Brown is once more managing the losingest ball team in Little League history. Though it's a tough call, by far the team's worst player is right-fielder Lucy Van Pelt, who would much sooner ply her "fussbudget" trade than bother to catch fly balls. With 900 straight losses behind him, Charlie Brown is faced with a difficult decision: how to remove Lucy from the team without inaugurating World War III. First telecast August 29, 2003 on ABC, Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown was produced by the same cartoon firm responsible for such imperishable classics as A Charlie Brown Christmas and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi |

Snoopy Lucy Kiss Dog Germs
The Top 10 Most Famous Dogs (Part 3) Names Beginning with the Letters L to M
I've been compiling a list of famous dogs for my Pet Numerology website for some time now. I know which my favorites are, but I wondered which are the most famous overall. There are so many great famous dogs that I'm doing this in five or six groups, and then I'll do a final round with the top dogs from those groups.
The most famous dogs (based on online chatter) with names starting with the letters L to M are:
10. Milou the dog stars in the "Adventures of Tintin" comic books
9. Merle the Labrador Retriever is in Ted Kerasote's book "Merle's Door"
8. Liberty was US President Gerald Ford's Golden Retriever
7. Marmaduke the Great Dane from the "Marmaduke" comic strip.
6. Lady the Cocker Spaniel from the animated Disney movie "Lady and the Tramp"
5. Lucy the dog from the movie "Wendy and Lucy"
4. Mr. Peabody who stared with his boy Sherman on the "Rocky and Bullwinkle" cartoon show
3. Mr. Muggles the Pomeranian from the TV series "Heroes"
2. Lassie the collie from countless Lassie TV shows and movies
...and the most famous dog on this list is...
1. Marley the Labrador Retriever from the book and movie "Marley and Me"
Dogs not ranking in the top 10 were Laddie the Wonder Dog from Terry Pratchett's novel "Moving Pictures", Ladybird from the animated TV series "King of the Hill", Laika the Soviet Space dog, List the Soviet Space dog, Loki the Chihuahua-Terrier mix lived with actor Mickey Rourke, Lucky from "101 Dalmatians", Manchu the Pekingese who lived with Alice Roosevelt Longworth, Marbles the Beagle who was one of Snoopy's brothers in the "Peanuts" comic strip, Martini the Jack Russell who lives with "Girl Next Door" Kendra Wilkinson, Max from the and animated Christmas special "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", Maximillion the Bionic German Shepherd from the 1970s TV series "The Bionic Woman", Meatball the English Bulldog who lived with actor and comedian Adam Sandler, Millie the Springer Spaniel who lived with US First Lady Barbara Bush, Miss Agnes the Shih Tzu in the movie "Best in Show", Miss Beazley the Scottish Terriers who lives with former US President George W. Bush, Mouse the "Temple Dog" from the Jim Buthcer's "Dresden Files" novels, Mr. Fusspot from the Terry Pratchett novel "Making Money", Mr. Winkle who had his own series of books and calendars, Murray the Border Collie mix on the TV series "Mad About You", Mushka the Soviet Space dog, and Muttley from the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
So a nice mix of dogs in this top ten from movies (Marley, Lucy, Lady), television (Lassie, Mr Muggles, Mr Peabody), books (Kipper), comic strips (Merle), and real life (Liberty). Not surprisingly, nine of the top ten dogs are characters and not real life dogs, with only Liberty having been a real life dog. Too bad those brave Soviet Space dog pioneers aren't better know, so I'll mention their names one more time: Laika, Lisa, and Mushka.
I compiled this list by searching for the dog names listed on a number of search engines and ranking them by the number of web pages, discussion forums, photos, videos, etc that are available online.
