If your not aware of designer cats, there exotic cats that are bred until they can be called domestic to be allowed as a household cats..here are a few to name: Mokave Bengals, savannah, toygers, and ashera. Heres a link to see the ashera:

My personnal opinion is its wrong and that they shouldnt make new breeds because there millions of cats that need homes already...

when i say manmade cats not natural..im mean that the cat is designed to look like a cat in the wild..and also its a new breed only about 100 yrs old(that i read upon) and theyre domestic cats bred with wild cats..so thats what i mean by manmade.
There's a HUGE difference between these new breeds of cats that are being created and the simple mixing of mutts, adding a cutesy name and selling for a huge pricetag. Those that are creating these new breeds aren't churning out 1,000's of animals simply due to greed like the "designer" dog breeders. So not really right for you to compare the two. And FYI - ALL cat and dog breeds are man-made. No cat or dog breed is "natural" they were all created by us.
I, too, think there's far too many cats and kittens in shelters but these breeders aren't the problem - it's all the ignorant people that don't bother to spay and neuter their pets.
