Mommy Diaper Silly first time mommy question about newborns?
Since most newborns don't sleep through the night, I expect to be up all the time when my son is here.
Here's my stupid question.
Do they always cry because they're hungry or need a diaper change, or do they often just need the attention and need to be held?
I'm talking about middle-of-the-night crying.
sometimes they just want to be held. I know with my daughter she will cry and cry until someone holds her and once someone picks her up she stops crying and when you put her back down she starts crying again. Newborn babies like the skin to skin contact and most babies like to be swaddled. Also sometimes they might have gas trapped and that can cause them to cry.
