Weird washroom feces and interest?

I am baffled. I was raised on a farm and in the country. Recently my wife found on the laundry room floor feces in the shape of a teardrop about 1.5 inches long and the diameter of a small pencil at the larger end. No slime or tracks nearby. Part of the laundry, ladies underpants, had been moved towards the outside door as if the underpants had generated some interest. The underpants had been used as a clean up rag after sexual intercourse.

The feces does not look like rodent ( mouse or rats) droppings. No slime trail leads me to believe no slugs or snails.

Any helpful suggestions or places to go look would be helpful. Thanks
