For those who use cloth nappies/diapers - what are the best style to use?

I'm a long way off needing to use cloth nappies/diapers, but want to use them without a doubt, using disposables was never even a consideration for me. But I'm a little overwhelmed by the different styles, etc. - what style is best to use?

Bonus for anyone who can suggest links to good cloth nappy guides.

There are so many different styles and brands its really hard to choose. The best thing to do when starting off is to only buy one or two of each kind and see which ones you like best. Some diapers work great for some babies and not great for others.
The brands I use are Gdiaper (My favourite), Bottombumpers and Blueberry minky, but I'm in canada so I'm not really sure whats available in your area.

Babies can be a very expensive addition to the family. There is nothing worse than feeling like you can't be excited about the arrival of your new baby, because of the stress and anxiety associated with all the extra costs.
