Why would anyone get offended with the baby alive newborn baby boy?

I read on Targets online reviews that some of the mothers were actually upset to find out that you can really tell it's a boy. How stupid could you be to be offended by this? What happens when mommy has a baby brother for the sibling?, this is life. Are they liberal politically correct idiots or what?. I had to go out and buy one just because of the reviews. I also read that the boy is the favorite choice and most asked for. My mother in law checked many stores, and all the boy dolls were gone.

I had a boy baby doll with "all the right parts" when I was little. So did my sister. I remember our two friends next door thought they were so neat (actually a couple of months later those girls stole them from both of us!) But like the one woman said boys like playing with baby dolls too. And just like little girls they want one that looks like them.
Personally I've always thought that when a little boy gets a baby doll that is suppose to be a boy baby and is missing a penis that would be more confusing than a boy baby doll that does have a penis.
