What types of mediums can nylon paint brushes be used for?
like acrylic? watercolor?
One possible problem that can arise with nylon brushes is their tendency to absorb water and/or lose resiliency. They work best with latex paints but can be used with oil-based paints as well (though the lack of split tips on the nylon bristles means that the brush can't hold as much oil paint, since it is runnier than latex). They also will last nigh unto forever which is a good thing, and they hold their shape well.
