say all of you hypothetically have never gotten your period before .. and you're sitting in your class doing provincial exams and you're not allowed to leave unless your teacher calls down to the office for you to get someone to take you
then you get your period and it leaks like crazy and you turn all red and if you run out of the classroom to go to the washroom you get a 0 on your exam cause you're not allowed to leave?

It would take time, probably at least an hour, to leak though your underwear and pants, especially if you were holding yourself still as you would during an exam.
