Diaper Rash... please help!!?

My daughter woke up this morning with a little redness, so I out some diestin on it with each diaper change and it seemed to be fine. But a little bit ago I took of her diaper to change her and the whole area was bright red. When I did change the diaper it was a bowel movement so I think that's what irritated it so much. But now i'm a little concerned because I have never seen a diaper rash this bad. I put her in the bath tub and now I am letting her play in her pak n play without her diaper hoping the air will be good for it. But I can tell she is in pain from it. It is so bright and such a big rash that I am very concerned. Is this normal? What should I do? Thanks in advance.
Edit: She is also getting 4 teeth in right now and I've heard that does affect diaper rash somehow?

It sounds like she is having acidic poops. Not much you can do to stop the poops from being acidic, but try aveeno oatmeal baby bath in her bath water and Boudreaux's Butt Paste everytime you change the diaper. It will clear up by tomorrow if you stay on it.

Edit: I tried Destin on my daughter and it seemed to wear off really fast. Boudreaux's is the best. Whatever diaper cream you use it needs to have zinc in it. Yeast rashes don't just appear. They start from a center point and spread. I doubt it is yeast.
