Wanted to add as far as my names go....There will be changing or switching around. The names have been chosen for a reason. (Some of those are family names)

My daughter will be Anna Loraine. To me that is the perfect name. My paternal grandmother was Catholic, and as a part of her confirmation, she had to pick a "saint's name", so she picked Anna. Otherwise her name was Loraine (Last name). No middle name. So I'm naming her Anna Loraine after her. I'm also named after her (Loraine).

Anyway, for your names...Samuel Aiden and Chyler Alexis.

Also, for craziest names. The one that sticks out is we had muslim friends that named their son Jonas. Nothing wrong with that, but when pronounced like it's supposed to be (they're from Pakistan. They live in the US), it sounds like Eunice. So when people hear it, they think he's named Eunice.

Oooh! Just thought of another crazy one. A friend I used to have, still see her from time to time, named her daughter Destiny Tamara. Nothing wrong with it, but the way Tamara is pronounced it sounds like Tomorrow. So it comes out sounding like Destiny Tomarra(like when people say Tomarra night instead of saying it clearly)

what is the perfect baby gift?

I don't know the mom very well (her mother is my good friend)
but I hate the idea of giving the "usual" clothes,blankets,savings bond...etc. which of course she already has tons of or something that would be very individual ie: a car seat or carrier.
Any ideas?

But you know, babies need clothes, blankets, and college money. I'd be thrilled to get clothes or diapers as a baby gift. That is perfect.

If she has a registry and you see a car seat on there, sure, get it. But I promise you she'd appreciate anything.
