What are some fun decorating ideas for a teen polka dot room?

A 13 year old girl re-painting her bedroom. Some fun, cheap accessories or paint ideas in a bright colored polka dot style?
I'm talking about my daughter. She is but I'm not because, well, I dont go to school. Should you be getting a life?
Ok I'll think I'll add this. My daughter has been away for a month at a cheerleading convention and I want to re-do her room as a welcome back. Her favorite color is pink (I think) and I know she likes pictures because she tapes them all over her walls. And I like the color contrast idea.
Shouldnt you be going away? Or is the only thing you have to do today annoy me? She is coming home in less than a week and I have to do this room. Thank you to everyone being useful.

I thinks it's Target that has ROUND pillows, they are ball like throw pillows in several different colors. They also have round ball like lights like lamps that just sit on a night stand or whatever. I love the idea of polka dots. Places like Home Depot will sell you small bottles of paint (there is enough in them to paint a few different size circles on the wall) you could get like 3 or 4 of those for the walls and then stick to those colors. Also go to $1 stores and get rugs and cut them into circles and just put them all around. Go to Michaels and Jo-Anns, you would be suprised at what you can find at those craft stores (I go there ALL the time for "home stuff" and alot of it is "ready to use". Just have fun and include her, the more that she is involved the more fun the space will be and that's all that matters!

Advice for Kids About a Polka Dot Duvet Cover

Adults that have had the luxury of owning a duvet set know that its purpose is to make it easier for us to redecorate our bedroom and protect our comforters from harms way. We love the fact that we can finally wash good bedding without having to spend so much money dry cleaning. But put one in front of a small child and ask them what they think it is and they will come out with the most craziest answers. If you tell a small child that the comforter cover is a luxury item and that is used to protect our comforters, they will think you are talking about a super hero and not a bedding set. That is why I am here to help explain to your child why exactly this type of bedding is special. In this example, I'll use a polka dot duvet cover because kids love anything that is out of the ordinary and cool and polka dots are just that.

Lets start by explaining to them that you are not gonna play twister. Let them know that it is not Santa Clauses sack that he carries his Christmas presents in. Look them straight in the eye and tell your children that they cannot use it to play hide and seek, including putting the family dog in the cover. Make sure to let the kids know that it will not be used to play connect the dots. Show them how to place the comforter in the cover. I know that placing a comforter inside the cover can be a challenge at times but kids will look at it as an adventure. Tell them how it will protect there comforter from spaghetti and Kool-Aid. Make sure to let them know that it will protect them from getting bed bugs at night as well. Let them lay on the bed set and they will see how soft and warm it feels. Tell them to close there eyes and to imagine the softness of the duvet as a big fluffy marshmallow.

Follow these simple techniques and I am pretty sure that your child will understand a bit more about duvet cover sets. If that doesn't work, wear the duvet cover as a cape and pretend you are a super hero and stand over the comforter with your arms folded to your side. Maybe that will help. Good Luck.
