An HP deskjet 6540 should do the trick. It's about $159.00 and it is pretty fast. 30 pages per minute with a monthly volume of 5,000 pages. The cartridges are about 30.00 but with such a cheap printer you can afford to splurge a bit. it is also 4800 optmized dpi which gives you a decent resolution. It also come s with a year warranty which is a major plus.
