What is Crash by Elizabeth Alexander about?
I have a feeling what it may be about or what it's relating to, but I'm not sure.
Here's the poem:
I am the last woman off of the plane
that has crashed in a cornfield near Philly,
picking through hot metal
for my rucksack and diaper bag.
No black box, no fuselage,
just sistergirl pilot wiping soot from her eyes,
happy to be alive. Her dreadlocks
will hold the smoke for weeks.
All the white passengers bailed out
before impact, so certain a sister
couldn’t navigate the crash. O gender.
O race. O ye of little faith.
Here we are in the cornfield, bruised and dirty but alive.
I invite sistergirl pilot home for dinner
at my parents’, for my mother’s roast chicken
with gravy and rice, to celebrate.
Please don't guess, I really want to know the meaning of this poem. Thanks! 
Does it have anything to do with 9/11? Or was it a crash that she was involved in?
No. not 9/11. It seems to be an anti race poem. Maybe its a message that the author believes that all the "white man" are going to be racist till the end. I'm sure its about two women of color celebrating survival following a near death experience on the surface. Perhaps it's about how the author feels that what is a threatening event for "white people" is just another occurance for a "sister". Hope this helped.

The Best Cup of Coffee or Simply the Best Coffee
Here are the basics to brewing the perfect cup of coffee: You take some coffee beans from a coffee plant. Roast them as desired no more than 45 minutes or you start losing flavor. Use only shade grown top of the mountain beans. Grind them a lot or a little – the more you grind the more flavor you get. Add hot water, preferably bottled water or filtered water ideally around 195 - 200 degrees F. Wait maybe 5 minutes. Either filter to remove the grounds or leave them to settle to the bottom. Optionally add spices, milk product, chocolate, sugar, fat free lactose milk creamer; then SIP; Drink. Smile . Wasn’t that easy? You just made the perfect cup of coffee. Now you need it to be the most satisfying cup of coffee.
