Royal Blue Polka

I'm planning a wedding and attempting a light 50's theme (classy not tacky) but I need unique advice and help!

I'm tall and curvy and want to pull off a tea length dress with a pin-up flare but having trouble finding dresses. Also interested in unique design ideas, catering, and guest favors. My colors are royal purple and blue (and I LOVE that my fiancee picked polka dot accents in our invitations.) Any help is appreciated!

We (my fiancee and I) are very into the retro thing. We are having a big band at our reception which we think will be heaps of fun. My fiancee can rockabilly dance, where as I have two left feet, so I am taking some rock n roll dance classes so we can have fun dancing together!

I especially think the little mini martini glasses (impracticle as they are) with the cherries in them are cute, and the retro candy idea could be a hit.
